Coco Chalet in Les Collons 1800, Valais, Switzerland
Our region of Switzerland, the French-speaking Valais, is a stunningly beautiful Alpine region that has a lot to offer for young and old, for families and friends: lots of sun and in winter also a lot of snow. There are lush valleys and rugged peaks and yes, there are still quite a few glaciers. Go for steep climbs or easy, flat walks. Discover quaint country villages and fashionable cities. You can enjoy local delicacies in bakeries, cafes and restaurants. You can visit markets, museums and music festivals. There are endless opportunities for skiing, hiking, biking, swimming, rafting, paragliding, rock climbing, horseback riding, golf. Store. And all this within striking distance of a beautiful holiday home where we are convinced that you will feel at home and happy: Coco Chalet.
The chalet is located only 100 meters from the chairlift Trabanta which takes you in a few minutes up to 2.100 meters and right in the heart of Switzerland's biggest ski area, Les4Vallées.
The chalet is just below the main street of the village of Les Collons at an altitude of 1800 meters. It is a detached holiday home on its own plot of land (approximately 600m2) consisting of garden and sunny terrace and shade can be found as well on warm summer days. With a few chalets nearby and the panorama over the Val d’Hérens, the Dent Blanche and in the distance even the Matterhorn and the Jungfrau are breathtaking.
Our village: Les Collons 1800 is a quiet and practical village, with a supermarket, tourist office open all year round. Several restaurants & bar/cafés, a bakery (open during the winter season from 7am for fresh croissants!), two sports shops, a souvenir shop and the Trabanta chairlift are open during the main tourist seasons, but have seasonal closures. The nightlife is very quiet and limited to peak seasons. All the village shops and services are within a maximum of about 5 to 10 minutes walk from the chalet.
Peace & silence: that's what makes this place so beautiful. In this part of the village, everyone comes to the mountains to enjoy the peace and quiet.
